Terms of service
These terms govern access to LittleSite.co.uk and its creator pages, bookings, digital downloads, payment tools and account features.
1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between the person or business using LittleSite ("you") and LittleSite.co.uk ("LittleSite", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account, publishing a page, making a booking, buying a download or otherwise using the service, you agree to the terms that apply to that activity.
The operator has chosen not to publish a legal name, postal address, company number or public contact address in this version. UK online-selling rules can require those details, so they should be added before relying on these terms as complete consumer-facing terms.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a contract. If you use LittleSite for a company, partnership or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. What LittleSite provides
LittleSite provides tools for creating a public creator page, listing services and digital products, managing availability and clients, taking bookings, delivering downloads, collecting reviews, viewing analytics and routing payments through Stripe Connect. Features may change as the service develops.
LittleSite does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, improve, suspend or withdraw a feature where reasonably necessary, while respecting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials and private links secure.
- You must promptly update inaccurate information and notify us through any support channel made available if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You may not share access in a way that undermines security, impersonate another person or use another person's information without authority.
- We may require identity, business or payment verification before enabling features.
5. Creator responsibilities
Creators are responsible for the services, products and content they offer. A creator must:
- describe each offer accurately, including its price, important characteristics, compatibility, availability, location and delivery arrangements;
- hold all licences, permissions, qualifications, insurance and intellectual-property rights needed for the offer;
- comply with consumer, advertising, equality, accessibility, tax, data-protection and sector-specific law;
- honour confirmed bookings and deliver purchased digital content with reasonable care and skill;
- provide customers with any trader identity, geographical address, cancellation information and other pre-contract information the law requires;
- handle customer questions, cancellations, refunds and complaints promptly and fairly; and
- avoid requesting special-category, medical, financial or other sensitive information unless genuinely necessary and lawfully handled.
6. Content and acceptable use
You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant LittleSite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt for technical display, transmit and show that content only as needed to operate, secure and promote the service and your published page. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for cached, backup or legally retained copies.
You must not use LittleSite for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, hateful, threatening, exploitative or infringing material; malware; regulated products or services without authorisation; unsolicited marketing; attempts to bypass fees or security; scraping that harms the service; or content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
We may remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, law, payment-provider rules or another person's rights. We may preserve or disclose information where lawfully required.
7. Prices, LittleSite fees and Stripe
Creators set the listed price for their offer. For online checkout, the customer is shown the total before committing to pay. LittleSite currently adds a fixed £1 fee to an online booking and a fixed £2 fee for each digital download included in an order. Any discount applies to the creator's listed price and not to the LittleSite fee.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Creators must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and remain eligible for charges and payouts. By connecting Stripe, a creator also agrees to Stripe's applicable connected-account terms and authorises LittleSite and Stripe to exchange information and route the creator's proceeds and LittleSite's fee.
Stripe processing costs, reserves, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, negative balances, payout timing and verification requirements may affect funds. LittleSite may pause checkout where payment or payout status is incomplete or presents a legal, fraud or security risk.
8. Bookings
A booking is confirmed only when the confirmation page or message says so. Online bookings may be held temporarily while payment is pending. Pay-in-store bookings are payable directly to the creator and carry no LittleSite online-booking fee.
The creator is responsible for delivering the underlying service and for stating any lawful cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, no-show and refund terms before the customer books. Nothing in creator terms may remove a consumer right that applies by law.
Where the customer uses LittleSite's private management link, cancellation or rescheduling remains subject to availability, payment status, the creator's disclosed terms and statutory rights. A refund may take several working days to appear after Stripe and the customer's bank process it.
9. Digital downloads and cancellation rights
Before buying a download for immediate delivery, a consumer must expressly request that delivery starts after payment and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right is lost once supply of the digital content begins. If that consent and acknowledgement is not provided, immediate delivery must not begin.
Loss of the cancellation right does not remove rights where digital content is faulty, not as described, unavailable or otherwise fails to meet the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Depending on the circumstances, the consumer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.
Customers receive a secure download route after verified payment. They must not share private download access, remove rights notices, redistribute a product beyond its stated licence or use it unlawfully.
10. Customer purchases and complaints
The checkout page identifies the offer, creator price, LittleSite fee and total. The creator remains responsible for the underlying service or digital content, while LittleSite provides the marketplace and payment-routing technology. Customers should first raise an offer-specific complaint with the creator. LittleSite may assist with records, access, payments, refunds or safety issues where appropriate.
These terms do not limit mandatory consumer protections. If a term conflicts with a right that cannot be excluded under UK law, that right takes priority.
11. Reviews
Verified reviews are linked to completed bookings. Reviewers must give an honest account of their experience and must not include unlawful, abusive, confidential or irrelevant material. Creators may publish or hide reviews through the available moderation controls, but must not manipulate reviews or make misleading claims about verification.
12. Intellectual property
LittleSite's software, design, branding and platform content are owned by or licensed to LittleSite. Subject to these terms, we grant account holders a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No right is granted to copy, reverse engineer, resell or exploit the platform except where law expressly permits it.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the platform uses personal information. Creators must provide their own privacy information where they independently decide how customer information is used.
14. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the service at any time, subject to outstanding bookings, orders, disputes, refunds, record-keeping duties and any available account-deletion process. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for serious or repeated breach, fraud, security, legal compliance, payment-provider requirements, risk to users or non-payment of an agreed charge.
Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach. Immediate action may be necessary for fraud, illegality, security or imminent harm. Terms intended to survive termination, including payment, intellectual-property, liability, dispute and record provisions, continue to apply.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by a creator's underlying service or content, your breach, or events outside our reasonable control, except where law makes us responsible.
If you use LittleSite wholly for business purposes, our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited, to the extent lawful, to the greater of £100 and the LittleSite fees paid in connection with your account during that period. We are not liable to business users for indirect loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost opportunity or loss of anticipated savings.
16. Changes
We may update these terms for legal, security, operational or feature changes. Material changes will be brought to account holders' attention where reasonably possible. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued. Continued use after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
17. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law. Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
